Yes, kayaks are available for $30. When you fill out your registration be sure to indicate that you need a kayak and we will send you a link to reserve your kayak. A limited number of kayaks are available and are on a first come first serve basis.
There are various types of vessels that are acceptable for the event. You can participate in a canoe, any type of kayak, stand up paddleboard, or any vessels where each person has their own paddle. Skulling boats and crew boats are not allowed (sorry).
Yes. teams are encouraged. Teams will be able to enter the race together (within the same division).
The race starts at 7am with waves going out every 15 minutes. Advanced participants will go out first, with beginner/intermediate participants continuing after. If you need to request a start time please contact us, otherwise you will be grouped based on your experience level, team and registration date.
Yes, this is a fun event and there will be plenty of volunteers and staff to assist you any way that you need.
There will be timing for this event. Every participant receives a medal, with an award for the overall male and female for advanced and beginner courses.
